Take a journey behind the scenes and into the magical world of cinema on this interactive tour of the Grand Rex.
This historical monument of a cinema is pretty special as it still has it’s original decor from 1932!
Learn about each step of the movie making process by discovering the artists entrance, Director’s office, images from events and previews, the tunnel of the stars, the projection booth (one of the most secret spaces of cinema), the special effects room, film sets and more.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out on what’s showing in the main hall of the Rex.
As well as showing some of the newest releases, the Grand Rex also screen classic movies, movie marathons (Rambo and Matrix are the next to be featured) and even play host to amazing ciné-concerts.
A ciné-concert is a screening of the original film but with a twist. They have a live orchestra playing the music of the film throughout. It’s a truly amazing experience.
